World No. 60 João Fonseca shared who his tennis idols are.
– You are becoming an idol for many people, especially for someone from the younger generation who is inspired by you. Who was your idol?
– It`s not easy, because… Can you hear? (Screaming in the background.) Two years ago, I myself asked for autographs, and now children ask me for autographs and say that I am their idol and inspire them.
Roger [Federer] inspired me in childhood. I loved him very much. Also Guga [Kuerten] is our Brazilian hero. I liked him not only because of his game, but also because of his charisma, because of how he gave interviews, how he loves Brazil.
– And I really love to represent my country, – the 18-year-old Brazilian said in an interview with Tennis Channel.
