Siglinde Sinner, mother of world No. 1 Jannik Sinner, left the stands after her son lost the first set of the Rome Masters semifinal 1/6. Despite the rough start, Jannik managed to turn the match around and secure a victory in three sets.
“I left after the first set. Then I just walked around the stadium grounds waiting for the match to finish,” Siglinde Sinner told Eurosport. “I rarely watch Jannik`s matches live. I`m much more comfortable watching on television. The only time I watched live was in Turin – the final and some group stage matches. My husband stayed in the stands; that`s always easy for him.”
