World No. 2, Jannik Sinner, shared his thoughts on experimentation and changes within his game. These comments followed his victory over Terence Atmane in the second round of the Beijing tournament, with scores of 6/4, 5/7, 6/0.

“I think about it a lot, and we discussed it after the match. It consumes a lot of mental energy, and one must be careful not to overdo it. It`s crucial not to distort my playing identity,” Sinner stated. “Currently, I`m trying to be 20% different and 80% my usual self. However, perhaps I should remain 95% myself and only experiment 5%, doing so during more relaxed moments.”

Sinner had previously acknowledged Terence Atmane`s unique style and the significant progress he has shown since their previous encounter in Cincinnati.
