Jakub Mensik Joins Ranks of Youngest Miami Open Champions

Jakub Mensik, currently ranked No. 24 in the world, has entered the top ten youngest Masters champions in tennis history.

The Czech player secured the Miami Open title at the age of 19 years and 210 days. Michael Chang holds the record, winning in Toronto in 1990 at 18 years and 157 days old.

Notably, Mensik ranks second among the youngest champions in the history of the Miami Open. Carlos Alcaraz is the youngest Miami Open champion, having won in 2022 at 18 years and 333 days old.

Jakub Mensik becomes the lowest-ranked player to ever win the Miami Open men`s singles title.
