British tennis player Jack Draper shared his thoughts on breaking into the world`s Top 5 ranking.
He emphasized that his ranking doesn`t define his personality. “My position in the ranking doesn`t affect who I am,” Draper stated. “I use my fears and insecurities as motivation to give my absolute best in every match. Regardless of my rank, I stay true to myself.”
Draper added that while rankings are significant, his recent achievements provide crucial support during moments of doubt. “Despite the importance of ranking, my accomplishments over the past year—winning a Masters tournament, securing ATP 500 and ATP 250 titles, and reaching a Grand Slam semi-final—really help me,” he explained. “I tell myself, `Jack, you`re a great player, there`s no need to worry.` These successes boost my self-confidence.”
Draper`s remarks were made during a press conference in Rome.
