British tennis player Jack Draper shared his thoughts on the power outage that occurred at the Madrid tournament.
Due to this incident, which affected not only Spain but other regions of Europe, the match play the day before was interrupted.
Draper admitted that he actually enjoyed the break. He commented:
I`m probably a bit of a minimalist. It`s really nice when there are no phones around and none of this world noise and clutter. You can just focus on what`s important.
“Ultimately, I even read about ten pages of a book. Usually, I don`t read at all, so it was an interesting experience,” the player added, commenting on the situation after the match against Matteo Berrettini, who was unable to finish it.
