World No. 6 Jack Draper, after advancing to the third round of the Monte-Carlo Masters, shared his reflections on his progress over the past year. In his opening match, the British player decisively defeated Marcos Giron with a score of 6/1, 6/1.
– You`ve only been defeated by three players this season. Do these strong results inspire you to achieve even greater success?
– I`m not sure. Of course, I`m gaining confidence and experience. I`m also adapting somewhat – last year I came here ranked 40th in the world, and now I`m sixth. I`ve had a fantastic year, but I`m determined to keep working hard.
People will definitely be watching me more closely now. And I`m ready to fight and give my all on the court, – Draper stated in an on-court interview.
