Italy Advances with Tonali and Kean Goals in 2-0 Win Over Northern Ireland

Italy secured a crucial 2-0 victory against Northern Ireland in their World Cup play-off semifinal match, featuring impressive goals from Sandro Tonali and Moise Kean. The win, played in Bergamo on Thursday night, propels Italy closer to the World Cup dream.

Both goals came in the second half. Newcastle’s Sandro Tonali broke the deadlock in the 56th minute with a powerful shot from the edge of the box. Tonali then turned provider, assisting Moise Kean for Italy’s second goal in the 80th minute. Kean skillfully controlled the ball inside the box before slotting a precise finish past the goalkeeper at the far post, securing the win for the Azzurri.

Following this victory, Italy is set to face either Wales or Bosnia and Herzegovina in the World Cup play-off Final next Tuesday, as they continue their qualification journey.
