Russian tennis star Daniil Medvedev offered his perspective on the start of cooperation between Andrey Rublev and coach Marat Safin.
Medvedev expressed genuine pleasure at seeing Marat Safin back involved in the tennis world. He finds it nice to simply encounter him in common areas and know he`s around. Medvedev considers Safin`s wealth of experience an invaluable asset that could benefit anyone. While it`s still too early to definitively say where their collaboration will lead long-term, things currently appear promising. He noted that positive changes are already visible after just a couple of tournaments, and he intends to keep an eye on their development.
“I prefer not to get involved in their dynamic,” Medvedev stated. “Of course, I could ask Andrey about the specifics of their work and Marat`s advice, but I always value personal space. Generally speaking, I know what they are discussing and how the process is moving forward, but I don`t seek to delve into details. I am confident that if there is belief in success, it will definitely come, regardless of who is participating,” Medvedev concluded during a press conference.
