World No. 1 Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka shared her thoughts on reaching the final of the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami, USA. In the semifinal match, she overcame Italy`s Jasmine Paolini with a score of 6-2, 6-2.
“Jasmine is a fantastic player. I knew from the start that I would need to battle for every single point,” Sabalenka commented.
“My focus was on my serve, and I tried to stay low to the ground because her shots are so deep and flat. Court movement was also key for me today. I’m really pleased with how I performed in this match,” Sabalenka added after her victory.
