Former world No. 3 Russian tennis player Nikolay Davydenko has spoken out about the unconvincing results of Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev.
`He has completely lost confidence. He plays his tennis, but we see that this is not his game. He has lost a bit of speed, maybe confidence, or rather, stability; he has started making more mistakes,` Davydenko said on BB Tennis.
Medvedev lost in the second round of the Masters in Miami (USA) to 56th-ranked Spaniard Jaume Munar with a score of 2/6, 3/6. As a result of the tournament, he will leave the Top-10 of the ATP rankings for the first time since 2023 and will become the 11th player in the world.
