Hakan Çalhanoğlu’s Agent Denies Galatasaray Transfer Rumors, Emphasizes Inter Happiness

Hakan Çalhanoğlu’s agent has categorically dismissed speculation linking the Inter Milan midfielder with a return to Turkey. The agent, Gordon Stipic, insists there have been no concrete discussions with Galatasaray and that his client is entirely focused on clinching the Scudetto with the Nerazzurri.

Speaking to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Stipic addressed recent reports of Galatasaray’s interest, a story that has resurfaced periodically without ever materializing into concrete proposals.

“He has a contract with Inter until 2027 and is very happy both in Italy and at Inter,” Stipic stated. “Speculation about a possible transfer to Galatasaray has emerged several times in the past and is now being recycled.”

The agent was unequivocal in denying any formal contact. “The facts are clear, there have been no negotiations with Galatasaray, neither last summer nor in January,” he confirmed. “At no point was there any request or concrete inquiry. Çalhanoğlu remains completely focused on what truly matters at this stage: Inter, the title race, and achieving success together with the team.”

Stipic also highlighted his client’s broader ambitions, pointing to the upcoming World Cup as a significant source of motivation for the Turkish international.

“Week after week, through his performances, his passion, and his sense of responsibility on the pitch, he continues to demonstrate his quality and his importance to the team,” he added.

“He looks ahead to the World Cup with great pride and determination, where he will lead his national team as captain. This responsibility is a special honor and means everything to him.”
