Bernardo Silva's contract is set to expire at the end of the season, making him a highly sought-after free agent. Juventus is among the clubs keen on securing his signature.
While several reports suggest that the Manchester City captain has already made up his mind to depart at the season's close, neither the club nor the player has issued an official statement.
During a press conference on Friday, as reported by Cityxtra, Guardiola shared his playful frustration: "I’m so grumpy with Bernardo Silva because one month ago I said, ‘When you take a decision, I have to be the first to be told.'"
The Manchester City boss continued, "And he didn’t say to me anything yet. I said, jokingly, ‘Tell me, I deserve’, but he didn’t tell me! So I don’t know what’s going on."
Bernardo Silva currently holds the captaincy at Manchester City. This season, he has contributed three goals and five assists in 43 appearances across all competitions.
Besides Juventus, Barcelona and Benfica are also reportedly keeping a close watch on the Portuguese star. Silva himself recently indicated in an interview that he would be open to a move to Southern Europe.
