Formula 1 recently announced the cancellation of two Grand Prix events scheduled for the Middle East. Logistically, finding replacements for these races proved impossible. This was largely due to a significant portion of the mobile infrastructure necessary for such events remaining in Bahrain after initial tests, with the intention of its eventual reuse there. The situation was further complicated by the restrictions imposed by the budget cap. F1 teams meticulously plan and optimize their seasonal calendars well in advance, as the substantial costs involved in transporting vast quantities of equipment make any last-minute scheduling changes exceptionally expensive and difficult to accommodate within budgetary limits.
