EuroLeague: Short-Handed Virtus Bologna Overwhelmed by Hapoel Tel Aviv; Play-In Hopes Dim

On the neutral court in Sofia, a severely short-handed Virtus Bologna, often referred to as the ‘V-nere,’ suffered a crushing defeat against Hapoel Tel Aviv. The Italian side was without key players including Diouf, Ferrari, Hackett, Pajola, and Vildoza, which significantly hampered their performance. During the game, Bologna found themselves trailing by as much as 30 points.

This latest result marks Bologna’s 19th loss in 32 European fixtures this season, pushing their play-in qualification hopes further out of reach.
