EuroBasket 2025: Teams, Schedule, and Key Updates

The EuroBasket 2025 European Basketball Championship is set to commence on August 27, featuring 24 national teams vying for the title of European champions once again.

This 24-team tournament makes its return following Spain`s gold medal victory over France in 2022. The competition is structured into four groups, each comprising six teams. The top four teams from each group will advance to a 16-team knockout stage. This year, group stage matches will be hosted by Cyprus, Finland, Latvia, and Poland, with the entire knockout phase taking place in Riga, Latvia.

The roster for this year`s event boasts a lineup of NBA All-Stars and key players, including Luka Dončić (Slovenia), Nikola Jokić (Serbia), Giannis Antetokounmpo (Greece), Kristaps Porziņģis (Latvia), Lauri Markkanen (Finland), and Franz Wagner (Germany).

The tournament will conclude on September 14, two weeks prior to the opening of NBA training camps. This final day in Riga will host both the third-place game and the championship match. All games will be broadcast on DAZN.
