Former world No. 1 Dinara Safina has commented on the decision to end her coaching collaboration with Diana Shnaider. Safina had been training the Russian player during the recent clay court season.
In a video posted on her Telegram channel “Лучший теннисный подкаст” (Best Tennis Podcast), Safina stated: “Hi everyone! What`s all this buzz about? Everything`s okay, all good, I`m home in Monaco. Yes, I`ve finished. Well, it happens – everyone has different perspectives, goals, and objectives. What can you do? We will cheer and observe [Diana`s matches].”
