Coco Gauff Reacts to Persistent Age Statistics

World No. 3 Coco Gauff recently commented on the persistent statistics highlighting her youth, following a specific record achieved during the clay court season. She had notably become the second youngest player in history to reach the quarterfinals at both the Madrid and Rome tournaments within the same season.

However, American teenager Mirra Andreeva subsequently surpassed this mark, making Gauff the third youngest on that particular list.

Gauff herself reacted to the statistic on social media, writing: “`I`ve been on the Tour for six years now, and the age statistics just keep coming.`”
