Coco Gauff Praises Lois Boisson After Reaching Roland Garros Final

World No. 2 Coco Gauff discussed her advancement to the French Open final. In the semifinal match, the American player defeated world No. 361 Lois Boisson.

The encounter concluded with a score of 6-1, 6-2. Following her performance at the tournament, Boisson is set to become the new top-ranked French player.

Gauff offered high praise for her opponent, stating: “`Boisson is one of the best clay-court players I`ve seen. She has a great future ahead.`”

Reflecting on playing a local favorite, Gauff added: “`It was my first time playing a French girl here at Roland Garros, so I was mentally prepared for the match. I just tried not to think about everything I couldn`t control.`”
