Casper Ruud: I Still Haven’t Shown My Best Tennis

World No. 7 Casper Ruud shared his thoughts on his current level of play. Today, he is scheduled to compete against Jannik Sinner in the quarterfinals of the Rome Masters tournament.

“Three weeks ago, before Madrid, I would have told you that I haven`t shown the best tennis of my career yet. I will say the same thing now,” Ruud commented. “Yes, Madrid was an amazing tournament, I won, but I believe I am capable of even more.”

He added that it feels great to be winning on clay again, especially after a challenging period with not many victories following last year`s Roland Garros.

“This is a very important period of the season, and I hope to have a good final few days in Rome, and then the last weeks on clay before transitioning to grass,” Ruud told Tennis Channel.
