Carlos Augusto Targeted by Roma and Juventus Amid Inter Frustration

Carlos Augusto, reportedly seeking increased playing time, might consider a move from Inter to fellow Serie A clubs Roma or Juventus.

The 27-year-old is highly valued for his versatility, capable of performing in various roles within a back three or on the left flank for his current club. His contract with Inter extends until June 2028, having joined the club from Monza in 2024 for €13.25 million.

Carlos Augusto Appreciated Within Serie A

This season, Augusto has made 37 competitive appearances, contributing two goals and two assists, though only 20 of these were starts. Reports suggest the Brazilian player is dissatisfied with his limited playing time and is reportedly open to opportunities offering more consistent appearances.

While Juventus has been linked with him previously, Roma is reportedly emerging as a significant contender for his services. Roma’s strong interest is reportedly fueled by the potential departure of Zeki Celik as a free agent at the end of the season, creating a need for a player like Augusto.

Inter, meanwhile, is reportedly looking to include a player in an exchange deal to reduce the cost of their pursuit of midfielder Manu Koné. Carlos Augusto, alongside Davide Frattesi, could potentially be part of such an arrangement. However, reports also suggest that any deal involving Augusto would be a separate transfer, with Inter valuing the Brazilian at €20 million.
