World No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz of Spain has commented on his rivalry with Jannik Sinner. He currently leads their head-to-head record 6-4.
When asked about comparisons to the historic Nadal-Federer rivalry, known for its incredible moments, and whether Sinner could be his `Federer`, Alcaraz responded:
“Nadal and Federer are unique and inimitable. Jannik and I have been developing a great rivalry for some time now, and I hope that we will compete for the biggest trophies in our sport for many years to come. It will be a positive thing for everyone.”
Regarding comparisons to the `Big Three` and who he is most similar to, or would like to be similar to, Alcaraz said:
“I don`t really like comparisons. Of course, being compared to three of the greatest players of all time is a compliment, but I am Carlos Alcaraz, and I am simply trying to find my own way,” GQ quotes the tennis player.
