The world`s top-ranked player, Belarusian tennis star Aryna Sabalenka, has offered her perspective on the ongoing season. While expressing overall satisfaction with her performance, she candidly admitted that she would have preferred a different outcome in some of her critical final matches.
“Overall, I am very pleased with how this season has unfolded,” Sabalenka stated. “I have gained a significant amount of knowledge and experience, particularly after enduring challenging defeats in Grand Slam tournaments earlier in the year.”
She further elaborated, “These matches have undeniably fortified me — both as a competitor and as an individual. Although I certainly would have chosen a different result in several finals, looking back, I now recognize that these very difficulties were instrumental in strengthening me,” as quoted by The Tennis Gazette.
