World No. 14 Andrey Rublev successfully started his campaign at The Boodles exhibition tournament held in Stoke Park. In his first match, he defeated Christopher Eubanks, ranked 131st globally, winning in two sets, both decided by tie-breaks.
In another match played today, fellow Russian Alexander Shevchenko also had a winning start. He overcame David Goffin with a scoreline of 6/3, 6/7, [11:9].
According to the tournament schedule, Andrey Rublev is set to play against David Goffin tomorrow at The Boodles, while Alexander Shevchenko will face Henry Searle.
