The AM GOLF platform continues its role as the official event management and scoring system for the Vegas Baby Spring Shootout, taking place from March 29 to April 1. This tournament is a key component of what is recognized as the “world’s largest Pro-Am.”
The Vegas Baby Spring Shootout serves as a complementary event to its larger fall counterpart, which typically hosts up to 600 golfers over three rounds across various award-winning golf courses in metropolitan Las Vegas. The spring edition, strategically scheduled during the popular March Madness season, will challenge players at the Paiute Golf Resort (featuring three Pete Dye-designed layouts), Spanish Trail (designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.), and Reflection Bay (a Nicklaus Design Team creation).
AM GOLF’s technology successfully facilitated the 2025 Vegas Baby fall event and is slated to do so again for the upcoming 2026 fall tournament, scheduled from November 15 to 19.
The AM GOLF platform is designed to simplify complex operational procedures for the Vegas Baby staff, providing an efficient solution for running golf events while delivering a modern and engaging experience for players. Its comprehensive features, including user-friendly registration, real-time live scoring and leaderboards, integrated communication tools, and customizable side games, significantly reduce administrative burdens without compromising flexibility.
A notable innovation from AM GOLF is its integrated AI agent. This feature assists Vegas Baby organizers in rapidly setting up events using simple voice commands, thereby accelerating the tournament creation process and decreasing reliance on manual staff input.
Furthermore, golfers benefit from increased autonomy over their experience. They can independently set up and manage their private games and side competitions, eliminating the need for constant interaction with golf shop staff for every request or adjustment. This translates to fewer interruptions for the Vegas Baby team and a smoother experience both leading up to and during the event days.
Scott Kolb, a PGA member and owner of Vegas Baby, shared his positive feedback: “The Vegas Baby Pro-Am incorporates several unique and challenging team net Stableford formats. Previous tournament scoring systems we utilized struggled to calculate scores accurately without extensive post-round manipulation by our organizers. However, the AM GOLF team applied the necessary formulas and adjustments in just minutes.” Kolb added, “The scoring was incredibly robust, setup was swift, and the social aspect kept players connected throughout the week – a level of execution we hadn’t previously witnessed. It also consolidated our needs, removing the necessity for separate conferencing/communication and scoring applications, meaning participants only required one app for the entire event.”
Kevin Carpenter, U.S. Managing Director of AM GOLF, emphasized the company’s philosophy: “Operators seek tools that simplify event management, not complicate it. Vegas Baby perfectly exemplifies what differentiates AM GOLF – we handle sophisticated tournament formats quickly and precisely, simultaneously offering players connected social experiences that enhance their enjoyment and reduce staff workload.”
