World No. 74 Alexandra Eala has spoken about her win against Varvara Gracheva in the semifinals of the Eastbourne tournament, where she triumphed with a score of 7/5, 2/6, 6/3.
In her on-court interview, Eala commented, “The match was very difficult. Varvara is a strong opponent, and at times she completely controlled the play. It wasn`t always easy for me to figure out how best to respond to her actions. This match was a real challenge for both of us, especially since we both came through qualifying. For me, reaching the final here in Eastbourne is a huge milestone.”
