World No. 16 Alexander Bublik is set to miss the ATP 250 tournament in Almaty for the second consecutive year.
This year`s competition is scheduled to run from October 13th to 19th. The organizer has not yet announced who will take the Kazakhstani player`s spot in the main draw.
Bublik recently faced an early defeat at the Shanghai Masters, losing to Valentin Vacherot with scores of 6/3, 3/6, 4/6 in the opening round. Following this singles exit, he also withdrew from the doubles event in China, where he was initially slated to partner with Ben Shelton.
