By reaching the final of the Rome Masters tournament, Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz has become the fourth player since 1990 to achieve a remarkable milestone: reaching the final in more than 25% of all ATP Masters 1000 tournaments he has participated in.
Alcaraz`s current rate stands at 26.7%. The statistical leader in this category is 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic, with an impressive 44.4% of his Masters appearances resulting in a final berth.
Following Djokovic is Rafael Nadal, who holds the second position with a 40.8% final rate. The exclusive top three is rounded out by Roger Federer, whose record is 36.2%. Alcaraz now joins these three legends in this statistical achievement.
In the Rome Masters final, Alcaraz is set to compete against the winner of the match between Tommy Paul of the United States and Jannik Sinner from Italy.
